DIOS SALVE A LA REINA has been a phenomenal success, thrilling audiences in Europe, South America and India, climaxing with sold out performances at the Luna Park Stadium (Buenos Aires), Via Funchal theatre (Sao Paulo), or at a crowd of 35,000 people at the Mathew Street Festival (Liverpool) (among others) just to name a few.
With an incredible lighting, sumptuous sound and the outstanding performances of DIOS SALVE A LA REINA members with the one-of-a-kind resemblance to Freddie Mercury by Pablo Padín, this show is set to be the “must see” event of the year.

1998
Dios Salve a la Reina was formed by Pablo Padín, Francisco Calgaro, Matías Albornoz and Ezequiel Tibaldo in Rosario, Argentina and began performing at clubs in their home town.

1999-2002
Dios Salve a la Reina continued to establish in the Argentinian market playing for the first time in the most important theatre in Rosario where tickets were sold out in only a few days-time.
2003 Dios Salve a la Reina appeared for the first time at national television with huge success. They also enter a South American contest at the Cavern Club Buenos Aires, Argentina which they won, and they were declared as the “Best Rock/Pop show of the year 2003” the prize was the chance to perform 6 gigs in Liverpool, UK during the Eggman Easter Festival.

2004
During April, 2004, the band played their first tour abroad with an incredible success including 6 gigs in Liverpool and 2 in London, UK. People in Liverpool were so excited with Dios Salve a la Reina that they decided to call them back in September for the Mathew Street Festival, an outdoor huge event for more than 30,000 people. The band also invited to the Queensday Brazil, the most important Queen Convention in Latin America, which took place in Sao Paulo, where they were declared “The most spectacular Queen tribute band in South America”.

2005
Dios Salve a la Reina continued performing at festivals and shows in Argentina. On July, they played two sold-out shows for 7000 people at the Gran Rex theatre, the most important venue in Argentina.
They also played at the two biggest Queen events in the world, the Official International Queen Convention in Prestatyn, UK and the Freddie Mercury Memorial Day in Montreux Switzlerland. Reviews couldn’t be better. Jacky Smith, president of the Official International Queen Fan Club, declared “One of the best tribute bands I have ever seen. Not to be missed!!”. Norbert Muller from the FM Memorial Day agreed “We never expected they would be so good!”. This is undoubtedly, a confirmation that the band is the most important Queen tribute in the world.
They also played for the first time in Chile, at the Teleton theatre, with a sell-out performance that created a big impact in the Chilean media.

2006
In 2006 Dios Salve a la Reina reached a career highpoint when they performed an exact replica –incluiding lighting, stage design, Costumes of the concerts that Queen played 25 years before in South America (the first concert ever played in Stadiums in the South American history), to a packed house at the famous Luna Park Stadium.The band also toured Spain for the first time playing for 250,000 people in Zaragoza, becoming the biggest success of the festival even when major spanish artists like Ana Torroja played at the same stage.
The year was completed with a South American tour incluiding Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela among other countries.

2007
Dios Salve a la Reina returned to Europe, this time for a 30-gig tour to Spain, Switzlerand, UK and other countries where they played at the World famous Montreux Jazz Festival, where they met Queen Management and even Freddie Mercury´s mother, getting awesome reviews like Phil Murphy´s (Queen Tour Manager) one: “They are as good as the real thing”.
Dios salve a la Reina also played in Latin America selling-out around 25 of the most important venues in the continent.

2008
Since Liverpool discovered the band and a long collaboration started, establishing Dios Salve a la Reina (God Save the Queen for them) as the number one tribute ever existed. The band The Mathew Street Festival in Liverpool for the first time where promoters love their performance. “Pablo has Freddie Mercury off to a tee. He´s the ultimate showman” declared Ray Johnson from the Cavern Club Liverpool. Bill Heckle, Mathew Street Festival organiZer walked one step foward: “They are the best tribute band of all the tribute bands in the World”.
To complete a great year, Dios Salve a la Reina played more than 90 concerts all over the world.

2009 - 2010
The year 2009 started with important compliments for Dios Salve a la Reina. They were invited in a tour as supporters of the legendary rock band “Deep Purple” getting excellent reviews from the audience, the press and specially Deep Purple members. "Something magic happened in music during the 70s, and that’s why the future of music are cover bands of legendary groups like Queen, Led Zeppelin, or Pink Floyd. Undoubtedly Dios Salve a la Reina is one of the best tribute bands ever” stated Roger Glover, Deep Purple bassist.
Looking further into the future the sky is the limit for Dios Salve a la Reina. They plan to conquer the rest of the World with tours in Europe, US, Asia, and Latin America, with even more territories to come.
